I would imagine the biggest problem would be how to handle the vault key issue since you might end up with a group of people that all have the same vault key. I don't think though that the actual mission keys are the problem. You can complete them in under 2 minutes consistently and farm over 30 relics an hour with a good chance of getting several Mesa Prime relics.

I do agree that it would be great to be able to find public groups for these mission the same way than others. All Derelict missions, excluding Assassination, can spawn an Orokin Vault. Press the Action button to initiate a trade.
